2). HOW TO GET THE PERFECT SHADES
If for instance, you end up buying different shades of foundation that is either too dark or too light for you, don't panic and don't toss them away or give it out, all you need to do is to custom mix them to get your perfect shade.

*PROCESS
Take the foundations, (the light and the dark on), mix both together, but you need to, first of all, know where your complexion lean towards more, is it on a darker side or lighter side? If your complexion falls more on a lighter side but not as light as the foundation you bought, all you need do is, take more of the lighter foundation and mix a little bit of the darker foundation, continue that way gradually until you reach your perfect shade and if your complexion leans towards the darker side and also, if your complexion is not as dark as the foundation you bought, just do the opposite (Take more of the darker foundation and mix a little bit of the lighter one). And you can also, use the lighter foundation for your highlighting and the darker one for your contouring! You see... Nothing is wasted!

3). GETTING YOUR UNDERTONE RIGHT
For every foundation that are produced, they are produced specifically based on skin-undertones which are:Warm, Neutral and Cool.
How to know which of these skin-tones you are, the best and trusted way is to check the veins in the inner part of your arm, close to your wrist,
If it's Green: Then you have Warm undertone.
If it's Blue: You have Cool undertone and If it looks Blue Green or you can't  really tell the actual color it is, Then you have a Neutral Undertone.

When you're choosing or buying your foundation, use your undertone to pick your perfect under-tone.

Another good Example to detect your skin UNDERTONE is the TABLE OF COLORS by the right hand side..

If you look good in any of the colors under WARM ROLLs then you have a WARM UNDERTONE or if you look good under COOL COLORS ROLLS  then you have a COOL UNDERTONE, but if your case is that, you look good in both WARM and COOL COLORS, then you have a NEUTRAL UNDERTONE.
